Recently I’ve gotten a bee in my bonnet. I really want to find a neat vintage upholstered chair to keep in my studio to use in my images. I spent six hours on Thursday driving around all over Seattle looking for such a chair and praying it wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. I found some fantastic chairs but apprently my taste is superb because they cost more than my camera. Gulp!
So in come Kevin and Tanya. Last Saturday they brought Connor back for more pictures and they brought this fabulous chair. EXACTLY what I was thinking of except in miniature form. This chair belonged to Kevin and his Dad (and his Dad?) so Connor is at least the third generation to enjoy this chair. And he does. Enjoy it that is. I love the super model attitude he conveys in the picture above, but you can see below that he likes to just kick back in his favorite chair too.
This family is such a joy to take pictures of. You can just tell they like to have fun and they adore their little guy.
Here are my favorites…
Just one more. I’m sure Tanya and Kevin will not be hanging this last shot on the wall but I have to share it anyway. We had taken away Connor’s bubbles to get a certain shot and he was not happy about it. This is the look we got. But that’s it. I couldn’t believe it. No screaming, no crying, no tantrum. Just a sad face. I was truly amazed because this little guy was only 22 months old. Wow! Keep up the good work guys! (BTW – The next frame I took he had a big beaming smile. No children were harmed in the making of these pictures.)
